News and information about F1 GP Manager 2008

Spam

F1gpmanager is spamming. Well, not really.

Some people have hacked into f1gpmanager and are sending tons of email.

Spamcop is an organization which acts, like the name suggests, as a cop towards spammers. And they are investigating F1 GP manager.

At F1gpmanager we decided that we would look into the origin of this hack and fix it.

As you may understand this is a lot of work. Bottom-line: Have to look trough every single line of code.

We hope to have found the fix. So now we can reopen the site. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience for not being able to access the site.

Hacking F1

Since we had some 'unwelcome visitors', f1gpmanager (and motogpmanager) was closed longer than usual. Excuses for any inconveniences. We were busy with damage control.

We are almost sure, everything is recovered.

So the rest of the website will be updated after we finish recovering from this hack attempt.

Race updated

The race results are being updated as we speak. Very interesting results.

Only 7 drivers finished in Albert Park. Kimi Raikkonen is on the score table so we will also classify him as finished.

Rubens Barichello has been disqualified so he will decrease 10% in value as do the other drivers that failed to finish.

Lewis Hamilton (+10%)
Nick Heidfeld (+8%)
Nico Rosberg (+6%)
Fernando Alonso (+4%)
Heikki Kovalainen (+2%)
Kazuki Nakajima (0)
Sebastien Bourdais (-2%)
Kimi Räikkönen (-4%)

(these are approximate values, since e.g. Fernando Alonso will first increase 5% for finishing 4th, then will decrease 1% for finishing 4th before the last)
Fernando Alonso's new value will be 41.58M:
40M + 5% -> 42M.
42M -1% -> 41.58M.
(and not 40 + 4% -> 41.6M)
Kimi Räikkönen's new value will be 47.975M:
50M +1% -> 50.5M.
50.5 -5% -> 47.975M.
(again not like 50M -4% -> 48M)
